Today's Pokemon Card Review is of Nosepass from the Dragons Exalted Pokemon Card Set. Nosepass is a basic, fighting type Pokemon card, with an hp of 80. It has a x2 weakness to grass type Pokemon, no resistance type, and a two colorless energy card retreat cost. Nosepass does not have an Ability and it only has one move called Rock Throw which requires two colorless energy cards and does 20 damage.
Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, since Nosepass is a basic Pokemon that has a stage 1 evolution in Probopass, you'll want to pair this card with its evolution. If you plan on using Probopass from this set (which I'll be reviewing tomorrow) you'll want to include Nosepass in a steel type deck because that is the type of Pokemon Probopass is in this set. Nosepass would be a decent Pokemon to start your game with, it is a tad bit slow but Rock Throw is a solid move and can do 20 damage every turn. Strategy-wise when Nosepass is in the active Pokemon spot you will have no choice but to use Rock Throw every turn since that is Nosepass's only move. I would possibly put 1 Nosepass in any type deck since it only requires colorless energy cards.
Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 3 out of 5 rating. In my opinion, this is a solid basic Pokemon card. I like the fact this card has an above average hp, and one good move. Like I said in the strategy section of this review, it is a bit slow, but being able to do 20 damage every turn on a basic Pokemon is pretty good. So I would recommend using this card if you have the option to.
